Sunday FAM JAM Walk & Rock

Supporting the MCYS in the National Family Celebration, our company joined the Walk at East Coast Park today.. We have a total of 117 staff and families joining. I was told by the organiser that they are expecting 3000-4000 people from the corporate side and as for the public, no clue. In the end.. I think we only see a few hundreds ba.. must be due to the H1N1, alot of companies back out last min.. The organiser was even anxious and thought that we were not turning up.. haha

Hmm.. Reached there at 3.15pm. Accept the balloons that I have ordered and then proceed to brief the group leaders of what they should do.. yar yar.. the day was hot..

Yes, we are all in orange, with the Smiley t-shirt.. Those in dark orange belong to MCYS, the organisers and the MPs.. what a coincidence.. By the end of the Walk.. we got some free goodie bags and free ice-cream.. and of course.. I become "Chao Da" black black... haha... It's a nice experience thou.. first time doing this.. but hope no next time.. hee hee ;P

Hai~ refuse to go to sleep.. Thought of the stupid Walk when I wake up (Sunday).. Really a turn off.. Got to 自high... Pray that everything goes well..

Friday Night 26 Jun 09

Friday 26 Jun 09 was a Family Day for us in Bossini, so we can leave at 5pm sharp instead of the usual 6.15pm. Purpose is to go home and have dinner with your family..

Instead of going home, Dear and I went Sunset Way, recommended by Cheryl, for dinner. We were trying to figure the way out and we got to the wrong spot. We went to the ice-cream place instead of the dinning spot. Just right, Cheryl called and I tried to figure out the place she was talking about.

And yes, we were there.. thinking of which restaurant to enter.. In the end, we go for seafood.. Zheng Fa Live Seafood restaurant, haha.. so that I can eat my crab!

Hee hee.. I order a black pepper crab and the waitress recommended lobster to us (got promotion).. So we ordered one to fry with noodles. Plus a veg - Sambal Kang Kong

This crabby is big.. Sorry, i took away the right pincer so it looks a bit empty on the right. When we lift up the that shell, omg.. the roe is all over.. the orange "eggs" i supposed.. I can say I ate 3/4 of the crab.. hee hee. Thumbs Up!

This is the lobster dish.. not those big lobster lah.. hee hee.. the noodle sucks.. but the lobster is good.. Hmm... I still prefer the crab.. haha..

This is the most neglected dish.. but this Kang Kong is nice loh.. I like it.

After this dinner.. we walk back to the dessert place that Cheryl recommended.. Peaberry & Pretzel. Actually they served main course, but we went there just for dessert and drinks. I ordered a sinful chocolate desert and I ate it all.. haha.. This is really shiok, but think my waistline is hopeless.. Lolx

Star Chasing Experience.. haha..

Yes.. This is my first time doing this.. Star Chasing.. can't believe it. Anyway I never tried this before, so it is an experience.

The star that Cheryl and I were chasing was 阮经天, Ethan Ruan. He was here in Singapore to promote his new Taiwan drama, 败犬女王, with the female lead, Cheryl Yang, 杨谨华. She is really very beautiful in real person.

Anyway.. the fans were all Ethan's. But the host reminded everyone not to neglect Cheryl Yang too.. haha.. That day was real hot and sunny. And we were at Bugis Junction waiting for them. We reached there at about 2.45pm. The fans are already there le..

But we went opposite Bugis Village to buy the 'thunder clappers' for the Walk. Then we went Bugis Village walk walk.. I did my G-mask for my phone there.. hee hee.. they got promotion, it costed me $48.

When we went back.. the place was quite crowded already and the host was up there entertaining everyone and preparing everyone what to do.. (e.g. cheer, giving out goodie bags, games to shortlist some fans for up close opportunities with the stars etc)

He was quite funny thou. Asking everyone to cheer for Cheryl Yang as well althought most of the fans are Ethan's. Waited for quite long. They were supposed to arrive at 4pm. In the end, they reached at 4.30pm loh.. Both of us were sweating like hell.. and the crowd are all packed up. My tee started to get wet loh.. haha.. what an experience.. Look at me, trying to get some shades from people around me..haha
This is what happens when stars arrive at any event.. Comon everybody, Let's all hands up! All Hands Up! Then I could not see them loh, knowing my height.. so try to tip toes.. and Cheryl was trying her best to snap pics.. Haha.. More photos to share..

They are giving out goodie bags.. Q & A time..I find that Cheryl Yang is very beautiful in person.. better than on screen.. And of course the Ethan.. very cute.. then trying to act cute also.. haha..

Spot this lady in yellow.. She is Isaac's mother.. our 2 times model for our ad.. Tracy's godson mother.. Organiser for that day also. We did not know that she was there loh.. hai ya.. if not we would have went up and say hi.. then can have up close pics of the 2 stars.. Damn.. It is only on Monday when Tracy showed us her Facebook and she got close pics with both of them loh.. Hai~ What a waste...

Overall this was a good experience.. Standing there with the fans, like we are one.. then when they are high, we are high too.. haha...

Photoshoot for our Bossini advertisement

On 10 Jun 09, we went for a photoshoot at a studio in City Industrial Building. A total of 10 shortlisted people (8 are Bossinians) and 2 kiddos..

I am the backup for this photoshoot.. hee hee.. It was quite a fun experience after the crew neck tee ad that I had done at MediaCorp. The difference was, I am one of the "models". :p

The 3rd to go was Sasha.. She is so cute and adorable.. Always tell them that if my daughter looks like her, I will live everyday very proudly.. haha.. she is so sweet.. Look at her, she was not scared or shy.. When she was doing her makeup, she was smiling to herself in the mirror...

She can really pose.. She is very pro. She can listen to the photographer's instructions; ask her to tilt her head, she can tilt. Ask her to smile naturally, she can change her smile. Ask her to chin down, she also can do so.. Not like other kids.. Photographer got to try his best to capture the best shots.

Then my turn.. haha.. makeup and hair styling.. So funny, first time doing this kind of thing.. Put fake eyelash, draw thick eye-liner etc.

Then we have our project leader Cheryl Tan.. going around to take pics with every models.. haha.. Oh ya.. I got problems with my hair style. This was the first style, then it looked too glam, like going for my wedding.. haha

Yes.. Has been quite some time I never blog le.

Dear bought a Thomas & Friends toy for Jovial cos one day he saw Jovial watching the tv cartoon and was calling for "Thomas Thomas thoo thoo...." haha..

So while having dinner at Plaza Singapura one day, he saw this toy and bought for him as a very belated bday pressie..

Busy Saturday

Today is a busy day for me.. Out in the morning, came home in the afternoon for an hour and then out again.

Visited Sandy at Mt Alvernia - her 3rd child is born!! A new born baby boy with the name Rafael (t.b.c.). He is really cute.. But Sandy was bad.. She wake up from her cesarean and was crying in pain. This is her 3rd cesarean thou.. Pity her..

Look at the boy.. he is so cute.. sleeping like an angel..

And of course his sister Adel is excited for his arrival!

After visiting her.. I went home at abt 7.45pm. Still, hadn't give up for the day. I went AMK Hub's late night shopping till 11pm. Went to Bossini to get some clothes, great deals, 3pcs at 35% off and additional 10% off from 8-9pm. So I was there at 8.30pm. Haha.. Thanks Uncle Henry for giving me a lift there.

Happy for today! Spent a lot time with Dear.. hee hee..
