Dear's Birthday Celebration @ Sentosa 30-31 Mar 07

I'm on leave on 30 Mar, & made my way to Sentosa wif Dear. It's been a long time since we went Sentosa. A lot of things had changed. Even the new train had been built. First, we went to HarbouFront Centre for our McDonald's breakfast. Then we went Vivo City for a walk, cos cant check in to our hotel so early. By the way, we bought a GV ticket to watch 'Shooter' @ 11.45 pm. (Think this a really a mistake.)

We went to the Sentosa train station. It was rather standard, but the train was small. Only 2 cabins.

When we alight at Beach station, we head straight to Siloso Beach Resort (new). Funny thing was, the reception is at 7th floor and at the other wing, where we need to cross some bridges. Was something special.

Then we check in to our room. It was very nice and we can see Cafe Del Mar right opposite us. (although is at 3rd floor) Was really excited. But suddenly, there was a downpour. Wat a shame.. we had intended to go for the Sky ride & Luge, but was raining. So we stay indoor to take some pics.

The rain seems smaller.. so we went out.. first place - Fish Reflexology @ UnderWater World. but pls, dun buy tics to underwater world, it is a separate place. it's nt inside

We start off with cleaning our feet. Then was the fish bites. (this is to remove out leg's dead skin.) The feeling was ticklish and i had a gd time laughing thou the place was so peaceful. It seems that my legs have more dead skin, the fishes r coming to me even thou Dear's legs are beside mine. (ok, these r the bigger fish, there is a pool with smaller fishes)

After the fish bite, we went to clean our legs again. This time, it's the ShiFu part to help us to do leg massage. They r realli gd, my legs feel relaxed after tat, but the process was painful at certain parts.

After this, we went for the Sky ride & Luge. Anyway, this idea (Sky Ride) was my final yr project in SP. We did tell the staff at Sentosa this idea as we hope they could furnish us with some details & information to aid in our project. However, our idea was a means of transport & entertainment at the entrance of Sentosa. This was a entertainment ride from the beach to the Sky Tower (carlsberg tower). Anyway, it is a gd experience to sit on the both rides. We had a great time. The great height, dangling of ur legs (careful of slippers) then no security lock to ensure tat u dun jump down. haha...

We sat the Sky Ride up and took the luge down again. Was fun... it cost abt $9 if i'm nt wrong.
Then we walk around the place, then walk into the forest trail (where the dragons lies).. haha.. its like hiking loh.. After tat, it was late, we went back to Hotel with some drinks & tibits.

After a bath, we head to Vivo for dinner... Look at this, such a wonderful dinner for Dear.. (Lao Di Fang) look at the roasted herbal duck.. that was the most delicious dish, anyway they r known for it. Should really try.

We waited quite long for the movie & all the shops had closed. Time past quite slowly at this hr as we hav nothin to do, nt like during the day. haha.. we went to Pacific Company Cafe for some drinks and waited there... The "Shooter" was quite a gd show, impress by the character's sharp shooter skill.
After the show, we try to get a cab to drive us in to Sentosa, many cabs rejected thou, but we manage to get one. We stopped by the beach & walked back. Cafe Del Mar was happening by then, but we were too tired to go in to join the fun. So head back to sleep.

Morning breakfast at the rooftop, a veri nice breakfast cos of the view. But the food was simple.

After breakfast, we went back to rest, then check out at 12pm.. This is really enjoyable and relaxing for the both of us..
